At RS AIR CON LTD, we strive to provide the highest quality of service. We understand that plans can change, and this policy outlines our procedures for cancellations and refunds to ensure transparency for our clients.
1. Service Cancellations
- Standard Appointments (Maintenance/Repair): If you wish to cancel or reschedule a service visit, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a Cancellation Fee of £50 to cover our logistical costs and lost technician time.
- No-Show Policy: If our engineers arrive at the scheduled time and cannot gain safe access to the property, the full call-out fee will remain payable.
2. Installation Projects & Deposits
- Deposit Refunds: For large installation projects, any deposit paid is refundable if the cancellation is made 7 days prior to the scheduled start date, minus any costs already incurred by us (e.g., specialized equipment ordered specifically for your project).
- Work in Progress: Once an installation has commenced, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
3. Refund Policy
- Service Fees: Call-out fees and labor charges for completed diagnostic or repair services are non-refundable. Our fee is for the professional time and expertise provided.
- Hardware & Equipment (AC Units): Air conditioning units and parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If a unit is faulty, we will handle the warranty claim and replacement on your behalf.
- Change of Mind: Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, for equipment purchased through us, you have a 14-day “cooling-off” period. However, if the unit has already been installed or the packaging has been significantly damaged, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.
4. Refund Processing
- Method: All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used via our payment processor, Stripe.
- Timeline: Once a refund is approved, it typically takes 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank's processing times.
5. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with the quality of our workmanship, please contact us at support@rsairconltd.com within 48 hours of the service. We will investigate and, if necessary, return to the site to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
